What are the visiting times for the maternity unit?

The Maternity Unit visiting times are:
9.00am – 1.00pm (partners and siblings only)
1.00pm – 3.00pm (quiet period – partners only)
3.00pm – 8.00pm (partners, siblings of baby and other visitors).
Children, other than siblings, under the age of 14 are not permitted onto the Ward.
All visitors to patient areas should report to the nurses’ station prior to entering the patient bed areas. This is to enhance security in the wards and to improve communication with visitors.
For the benefit of nearby patients, visitors will be restricted to a maximum of three per patient. Visitors should not visit for long periods – short visits are less tiring for patients.
